I used to use regular fertilizer with weed control etc. Then I switched to milorganite. Then last year my dog came down with allergies so I decided that I would put nothing on my lawn
So far so good, we had a lot of rain last year so it was no biggie. I think I am going to plant more trees because it seems the shade conserves on water and the grass does better there even during a drought.
